TUKD exists because buying a holster should not mean finishing someone else's work. We hand form Kydex IWB holsters in Las Vegas, Nevada, one shell at a time, tuned and tested before they ship. This is the story of why the shop exists and why we build the way we do.
A small shop, not a factory line
I started TUKD because I was tired of buying holsters that needed work the moment they arrived. Screws to adjust out of the box, shells that never quite fit the gun and light I actually carried, printing under a normal work shirt. I carry every day, so I figured I could form a shell that fit right the first time. That first shell turned into TUKD.
Today the shop builds 17 holster models across 10 brands: Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith and Wesson, Springfield, CZ, FN, H&K, Staccato, Canik, and Walther. Every shell is molded for the specific pistol you select at checkout, not adapted from a universal blank. You can read exactly how we hand form every shell in Las Vegas, from flat Kydex sheet to finished holster.
Why pre-tuned retention instead of screws
Retention screws are one more thing to check and one more thing that backs out over months of carry. We tune retention at the bench and test it before it ships, so the draw feels the same on day one and day five hundred. If it ever needs adjustment, that is what the lifetime warranty is for.
That choice shapes everything else about the holster. There is nothing to dial in when it arrives and nothing to re-tighten later. The shell holds the gun where you put it, every draw.
Made by daily carriers
Everyone involved in TUKD carries. That is not a marketing line, it is why the holsters are shaped the way they are. The geometry is appendix first because that is how we carry, with a clip you can shift slightly for strong side. The edges are beveled by hand because a sharp inside edge starts to bite around hour eight, and we wear these all day.
It is also why we keep the base holster simple. Every shell ships with the shell and a standard belt clip. Claws, wings, and wedges are sold separately, so you add what your carry style actually needs instead of paying for hardware you will never use.
The warranty is a stance, not a policy
Every TUKD holster carries a lifetime warranty on shells and hardware. We can stand behind that because we make every shell ourselves and retention test each one before it leaves the workshop. When you build something by hand, you know exactly what went into it, and you know what to fix if something ever goes wrong.
Most orders ship in 5 business days. Made to order, not pulled from a bin.
